De cursusinhoud bestaat uit:
• Organize shipboard emergency procedures;
• Optimize the use of resources;
• Control response to emergencies;
• Control passengers and other personnel during emergency situations;
• Establish and maintain effective communications;
• Understand and be able to explain the value of teamwork, sharing the
workload and how to build good teamwork, thus enhancing safety and
efficiency;
• Have good situational awareness and anticipate potential problems;
• Build a shared mental model of the situation and monitor the progress by
cross checking;
• Handle unexpected and emergency situations and make decisions that are
realistic and sensitive to constraints; and
• Understand and be able to explain the value and practical use of the
Operating Procedures specified by the Company using cautions, safe
strategies and keeping options open as long as possible.

De cursus is bedoeld voor officieren en bemanningsleden die taken moeten
vervullen in crisis situaties.

1 dag van 09.00 tot 13.00 uur.

Vooropleiding
Ofschoon er geen specifieke eisen aan vooropleiding zijn gesteld dienen officieren en bemanningsleden, afhankelijk van hun taakstelling, te worden getraind
volgens: STCW Code sectie A-V/2 en sectie A-V/3 pa.4 en 5.

Na het volgen van deze cursus wordt een officieel (IVW/DS goedgekeurd) STCW 95 certificaat afgegeven en wordt het monsterboekje afgestempeld.
